The Keysight 81490A reference transmitter is optimized to provide excellent eye image quality, As a reference for testing 10 GbE-LR, -ER, -SR, 100GBASE-LR4, -ER4, -SR4 compliant with IEEE 802.3ae standard compliant with IEEE 802.3bs and 10/16G FC Fibre Channel specifications. By integrating into the Keysight LMS platform, it can operate seamlessly with the N4917A/B optical receiver limit test solution.
High modulation bandwidths up to 35GHz enable the construction of test devices that combine arbitrary optical modulated signals with electrical waveform generators.
