The Advantest Q8347 spectrum analyzer enhances the performance of the spectrum analyzer, which uses a Fourier spectrum system and a Michelson interferometer. The Q8347 achieves 0.01 nm wavelength resolution and ±0.01 nm wavelength accuracy over the 1550 nm spectral band (1 GHz resolution and ±1 GHz optical mode accuracy). In addition, the Q8347 can precisely measure each wavelength of an optical wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) transmitted signal by separating the spectrum. It is particularly suitable for evaluating the properties of optical narrow bandpass filters for wavelength division multiplexing, such as AWGs and fiber gratings. In addition, the Q8347 is also robust in analyzing chirp in LD and soliton transport.
