The Keysight N4431D Radio Frequency Electronic Calibration (ECal) module enables fast, easy and accurate calibration of Keysight vector network analyzers. The N4431D is a precision 4-port ECal module that supports a variety of connector options, such as N-type, 3.5mm, 7-16 and 4.3-10 connectors, and can be mixed up to 13.5 GHz. Select female to female, male to male, or female to male connectors.
The N4431D extends the calibration frequency range from DC onwards, which facilitates wideband device modeling or time domain and signal integrity analysis using enhanced time domain analysis capabilities on Keysight network analyzers.
The ECal module is the ideal solution for calibrating vector network analyzers. The time and number of connections required to perform a full 4-port calibration is less than half that of a traditional mechanical calibration kit. The operator simply connects the ECal module to the vector network analyzer via USB, and the rest is controlled by firmware, reducing the chance of operator error. Connector wear is also reduced, resulting in lower maintenance costs for test port connectors and calibration standards.
