Keysight InfiniiVision oscilloscope, including 3000T X series, are based on hardware serial protocol decoding technology. Oscilloscopes from other manufacturers use software post-processing technology to decode serial packets/frames. The waveform and decoding capture rate are slow, and the dead zone time is long, which may miss some key events and error codes. Hardware-based decoding technology can decode faster and increase the probability of capturing accidental serial communication error codes.
